I founded Westplex Integrative Healthcare because I knew there had to be a better way to care for people who felt unheard, dismissed, and frustrated by the traditional medical system. I was once the patient sitting in an exam room with real symptoms, only to be handed a prescription for an antidepressant and told to "eat less and move more." That experience fueled my passion to help people uncover the root causes of their symptoms instead of simply covering them up with temporary bandages in the form of medications. Today, I have the privilege of working alongside an incredible team of women who share the same loyalty to our patients, the same relentless work ethic, and the same passion for digging deeper to uncover the truth. Together, we are building a community that challenges outdated standards of care, asks better questions, shifts mindsets, and empowers people to finally find answers and healing.

At Westplex, I love that we are all mothers and wives. This creates a shared family purpose both in practice and at home. I feel supported and fulfilled showing up to work alongside these women knowing they also support my roles at home. This enables me to care especially well for my patients because it is like working within a family. We love and support each other's families, but we also carry those same values over in our care. I have always said, when caring for patients, treat them as you would your loved ones and you will never be steered wrong. Each and every patient is cared for like a family member here. We are rewarded with knowing that each patient we care for is positively impacting their family, which is why one will see us and soon after, eagerly bring in a loved one.

What I love most about Westplex is the peace, comfort, and positive change it has brought to me and my family. Coming from the restaurant industry into a wellness office was a huge adjustment. It definitely wasn't easy, but it was necessary and incredibly rewarding. I've been introduced to an entirely new world that I never even knew existed, and it has had such a positive impact on both my physical and mental well-being. Not only is my brain filled with more knowledge than I know what to do with, but my house is now almost completely toxin-free, and my gut is very thankful that I learned McDonald's at 2 a.m. after a bar shift is not the move. Simply put, so many of the positive changes in my life have happened because of Westplex. Outside of my own household, the relationships built here are truly unmatched. We love getting to know our patients, greeting them with a smile, knowing everyone by their first name, and being a safe space for them. Our patients genuinely enjoy coming to their appointments and spending part of their day with us, which makes our days even better. It's such a beautiful thing to watch people progress through their health journeys and celebrate their wins like they're our own. The supportive community within these doors is something I truly cherish.

I truly enjoy my workplace because of my small, supportive group of women I get to work alongside each day. It feels like family! The environment is peaceful and calming, making it easy to stay grounded and focused. Our patients are incredible, and I look forward to watching them improve their health through the tiniest changes and the biggest breakthroughs. Working at Westplex has truly been a breath of fresh air for me after spending 9 years in the ER. In emergency medicine, I often saw the same patients returning again and again while struggling with chronic illnesses, and it could feel discouraging knowing there was little time or no desire to focus on long term healing. Now, I have the opportunity to walk alongside clients as they make small, sustainable changes that lead to real improvements in their health and quality of life. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is building meaningful relationships with both our clients and my coworkers, who genuinely care about helping people heal. I love being part of a team that focuses on finding root causes and empowering people to take control of their wellness. Watching clients regain energy, confidence, and hope through their healing journey is incredibly fulfilling, and I'm grateful to be part of that process.
